LATEST NEWS ABOUT THE 2022 REGATTA:-

29/04/22 - Cancellation of Putney Town Regatta 2022

It is with disappointment that the organising committee of Putney Town Regatta have had to cancel this year's regatta. Regattas are run for the enjoyment and benefit of the participants. For this to happen the logistics have to be robust. This year a number of factors meant that if stressed the smooth running of the regatta would potentially fail, this could affect the safety of competitors on the water and for that reason the organising committee took the decision to cancel.

Clubs who have already entered the regatta will have their entry fees refunded.

Clubs who have already put in an entry for Putney Town Regatta and who now wish to enter Thames Ditton Regatta are advised to contact the regatta by email on info@thamesdittonregatta.co.uk with details of events wanted and mention that they are ex Putney Town Regatta.

The organising committee intend to run a regatta in 2023 and hope that clubs will continue to support Putney Town Regatta in the future. .
