Putney Embankment

Formed in 1911, Putney Town Regatta is an annual rowing regatta that takes place on the River Thames during May. The races are held over a course of approximately 1200m between the Mile Post (Fulham) and the Ranelagh Sailing Club Flag Mast.

We are sorry to have to announce that the 2020 regatta has been cancelled.

LATEST NEWS ABOUT THE 2020 REGATTA:-

23/03/20 - 2020 Regatta - CANCELLED.

Message from the Regatta Committee.

The regatta committee held an online meeting and unfortunately in light of recent UK Government, NHS and British Rowing advice we have taken the difficult decision to cancel Putney Town Regatta for this year. We'd like to put on record our thanks to our suppliers, volunteers and all those people who have worked on the arrangements for this year's event.

We will be back next year, with a full programme of events, and look forward to seeing you all tearing up and down the Tideway pot-hunting...whether it is for your first win or to add another to the trophy cabinet!

See you in 2021.
